What this is not.
A network built around money attracts a certain kind of scheme. So it is worth being exact about what Prolific Society is not — and these are structural commitments, not marketing language. Each one rules out things the platform could otherwise be built to do.
Three things kept deliberately separate.
Money, contribution and influence are different scales, and collapsing them is how networks rot. Wealth does not purchase standing. Standing does not automatically confer control. Each is tracked on its own terms.
Economic wealth
What a member has earned. Theirs entirely — the network takes no ownership of it.
Contribution
What a member has given the network. Earned through work, confirmed by others.
Influence
What a member may decide. Never available for purchase, whatever the balance sheet says.
Held to it, out loud.
These are the terms membership is offered on. If any of them ever changes, members will be told plainly and first.
